- Biography Reference Bank Select (Ebsco)This source can provide biographical information on people from all walks of life. Much of it is full text. Drop down the "select a field" box and choose SU (subject), then enter the name of your subject.
- Biography and Genealogy Master IndexThis source provides citations to information about people, but it lacks full text.
- Contemporary AuthorsFull text biographical information about recent authors.
- Oxford Music Online - Grove Music OnlineUse this for musicians, from classical to rock.

Newspapers contain biographical information, like obituaries.

- New York Times Historical Newspaper (1851-2009)The full text of the New York Times from its first issue in 1851 to 2009 (a moving wall that is updated each year). A new product to the library, Films on Demand provides films that are time-indexed for showing in the classroom or posting online for your students. You can choose an entire film, or a section or chapter of a film to view.
