Author/Research Identification Services

These services provide the infrastructure for networking by setting up a "name authority" record. The ID then ensures corrects connections and name disambiguation on the networking sites.

Click on My Citations in Header. Provides list of publications, citation metrics. Auto updated from Scholar's database
ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID)
ResearcherID
From Thomson Reuters, coordinates with Web of Science and Endnote and also exchanges data with ORCID.
International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI)
ISNI is the ISO certified global standard number for identifying the millions of contributors to creative works and those active in their distribution, including researchers, inventors, writers, artists, visual creators, performers, producers, publishers, aggregators, and more. It is part of a family of international standard identifiers that includes identifiers of works, recordings, products and right holders in all repertoires, e.g. DOI, ISBN, and ISSN.

Free sharing, connecting site designed to connect with colleagues, discover research and search for job opportunities. Members can add conference papers, working papers, raw data and get a free DOI. Serves as repository, network and provides analytics.
Kudos
Makes research more discoverable through plain language summaries, links to external resources, trackable URLs. Also provides detailed analytics, including Altmetrics and WOS data.
LinkedIn
:"World's largest professional network" with over 450 million members. Broader in scope than other networks - business and job search oriented.
