Print magazines and journals are shelved on the 2nd floor, in alphabetical order.  The magazines and journals below include articles on a wide variety of scientific and environmental topics.  The links will provide searchable, online access to these articles.

First, Limit your library to Stevens Point and your location to the K-12 Collection

Use the lock to make the limit persistent!  

Keyword searching tips - combine subdivisions with your topic:

  1. "Study and teaching" - example = recycling "study and teaching"
  2. "Activity programs" example=ecology "activity programs"
  3. "Textbooks"
  4.  Limit by education level - elementary, middle school, secondary

Books for Children or Young adults

  1.  Juvenile literature = nonfiction children's books
  2.  Juvenile fiction = fiction children's book​

Finding DVDs and other Media

DVDs and other media, such as Audio CDs are found in the IMC on the 3rd floor.  There is also a collection of DVDs focused on environmental topics in the WCEE.  Use the Resource Type limiter Audiovisual to find media in Search@UW.
