This office provides recent and historical data about Wisconsin temperature, precipitation, and snowfall. Along with monthly climate summaries, information also is available for lake ice, drought, and agriculture.

The Wisconsin Energy Statistics Portal serves as a comprehensive source of data on energy consumption, generation, prices, expenditures, and renewable energy development.

The DNR’s Water Use Program implements the Great Lakes–St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact and focuses on statewide water quantity.

The Environmental Monitoring Station in Schmeeckle Reserve collects real-time environmental data for use in classes and research. Several environmental conditions are being monitored and recorded. Current and past data can be viewed as graphs and downloaded into tables for further processing.

The network reports well information and well sample result data from several DNR databases.

Public water systems are required to submit annual nitrate samples to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. These data create an opportunity to learn about current quality in addition to exploring changes in nitrate concentrations over time in these wells.

Volunteers, DNR staff, county staff and others collect water clarity, temperature and dissolved oxygen, as well as other water quality data, on lakes across Wisconsin.

The study used extensive data collection and groundwater flow modeling to evaluate the impacts of groundwater withdrawals on lake levels for Pleasant, Long and Plainfield Lakes in Waushara County.
