Instructional Materials Center

Be sure to visit the Instructional Materials Center on the 3rd Floor of the Library

The Instructional Materials Center (IMC) houses two collections related to education:

1. A selection of K-12 curriculum-related materials, including textbooks, kits, museum displays, children’s and young adult fiction and non-fiction books, posters, and puppets. 

2. The Library's audio-visual collection, including video recordings and compact discs (CDs)

Use Remember All Filters to make your limits persistent!  

Keyword searching tips - combine subdivisions with your topic:

  1. "Study and teaching" example = recycling "study and teaching"
  2. "Activity programs" example=ecology "activity programs"

Books for Children or Young adults

  1.  Juvenile literature = nonfiction children's books
  2.  Juvenile fiction = fiction children's book​s
