Open Access Publishing and Scholarly Communication

ORCID

ORCID is an independent nonprofit organization that maintains a registry of unique identifiers, called ORCiD iDs, for researchers and scholars and those involved with research, scholarship and innovation.

When you use your ORCID iD in a grant proposal, a publication submission, etc., the documents can be easily associated with you.

Publishers, funders, research institutions, and other organizations are increasingly adopting or supporting ORCID.  Your ORCID iD connects your contributions and affiliations across disciplines, borders, and time.

You can create an ORCID ID in three steps.
