As part of a 3-year agreement between Cambridge University Press (CUP) and the Big Ten Academic Alliance, UWSP corresponding authors are now eligible to publish open access in eligible Cambridge journals without having to pay article processing charges (APCs). The agreement is in place from 2024 through 2026 and allows read access to over 400 Cambridge journals and uncapped open access publishing by UWSP corresponding authors in Cambridge gold open access and hybrid journals.
By publishing research via one of these Cambridge journals, the article will become immediately open and available for free to the public and contribute to a more equitable scholarly ecosystem. Articles published under this agreement by UWSP authors will be accessible by anyone, anywhere, regardless of individual or institutional abilities to pay access costs. Authors retain rights to their work through a Creative Commons license (CC BY).
