Open Access and Scholarly Communication: Wiley Open Access Publishing

As part of an agreement between Wiley and the Big Ten Academic Alliance, UWSP corresponding authors are eligible to publish open access in Wiley journals, including the Hindawi/Wiley partnership journal gold open access portfolio, without having to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs). Publishing open access ensures that research will be immediately open and available to the public and that authors retain the rights to their work through a Creative Commons license (CC BY). 

To be eligible:

• The responsible corresponding author must be affiliated with UWSP, or another participating BTAA member, when the article is accepted.
• The article must be primary research or a review article. 

What journals are included?

• Wiley hybrid open access journals: your manuscript must have been accepted for publication on or after January 1, 2023.
• Wiley and Hindawi/Wiley partnership fully open access journals: your manuscript must have been submitted on or after January 1, 2023.
