HANDBOOKS
Handbooks contain an overview of a subject and can be focused on basic or advanced levels of information. These books are used for quick reference and location of facts. The UWSP library owns a wide variety of handbooks covering several different topics, some of which are listed to the left (top). Search@UW can also be used to search for handbooks on the topic of your interest.
MANUALS
Manuals are also focused on a specific subject but unlike handbooks they focus more on the how to aspect. These books may contain sets of instructions or rules for guidance in performing some sort of task or process. Manuals can also cover a wide range to topics. Some examples of the manuals available at the UWSP library are listed to the left (bottom). Search@UW can also be used to find a manual you are interested in.
